BBC weather forecast Cardiff...
Which is a shame as yesterday was sunny and warm - probably our summer for the year!

Not to belabor the point, but would appreciate weather reports right up to & throughout the race from some actual runner types who are out there. I haven't read anything in all the pre race talk about how the Kenyans have traditionally disdained the rain, even forgoing or at least putting off a scheduled run/workout until the rain has stopped. I've interpreted it almost as a bad luck, superstitious kind of thing. I know L.R. has someone over in Kenya now for the next 6 months, if you're around this morning, could you chime in?
Kamworor won World XC in the rain.
Lets all remember Farah rarely trains in poor conditions (UK) so its gonna be the same for everyone.
Is anyone else watching this BBC fluff piece on Seb Coe? He's being portrayed as the pure savior of T&F.
Read about the men's race here:
Women's preview coming soon.
We have good news to report to US fans. The race will be live on NBC Spors Extra on Saturday morning!!

Yes but its Crammie doing the interviewing and although he's quite sceptical in general they're mates. Very soft questioning and he still doesn't get it at all about the Nike job which is disturbing.
Women's preview is here:
Streaming info and a link to results are here:
I just merged the two threads. One guy didn't know we started the "official" thread when we put our preview up.

Cram just concluded the piece by saying that "we need to trust Seb and let him get on with it."
BBC coverage kicking off now. Up here we have light rain and a fair bit of wind but nothing too serious.
Someone should call John Kellogg. THe wind guru could tell us exactly how it would impact the race.
Is the broadcast on yet? I was busy fixing the front page.
Someone post the weather conditions here as I'm going to get some breakfast. Sorry ladies, food and saying hi to the inlaws gets precedent over the first 30 minutes of your race
The live stream just started here at 9:30. What time is the men's race? Wondering if I have time to grab groceries.

Huh? It rains from November to March in Oregon.
wow - even Iraq have a womens team!
Seb is talking 'bout track being unpopular and the need to change the format of championships...specifically to shorten them. Perhaps they'll get rid of rounds and switch to a 'devil takes the hindmost' format where the last place person/people get pulled each lap.

Horrible TV spot and sorry I wasted 30 minutes on it.
Just a seriously of fluff questions and Coe's friends like Radcliffe going on about how great Coe is.
Several of the elite women have arm warmers on as the gun goes off.
He's rarely there either. Ethiopia and Font Romeu.
why do japanese women always wear shorts?
Rain just started. On and off. But relatively strong at some points. Still constant winds from south (based on the flags around the castle).
