Hope it isn't too tactical. I thought Molly would have the better closing speed, but not so sure now after watching Allie's DMR in ABQ. She ran 4:38 in altitude, was all alone after 400m, and didn't seem too strained. Thought that was more impressive than her kick in the 3K in 8:54 a couple weeks prior. Then Molly blows out a 15:19, just to up the ante!
Right now, I give a razor-thin edge to Molly, only due to her experience in these racing situations. Of course, would not be surprised to see Allie win. Both seem like fine young ladies with loads of potential.
No one thinks Anna or Erin can sneak in for the win? What if it is very tactical and all four of them are tied with 600m to go?
Also - stop it with the weight crap - both Molly and Allie look great, healthy, and strong.
