11 seconds in 1 year? lol
11 seconds in 1 year? lol

lol you guys have a history of defending the most blatant phonies from Paula "I'm gonna release by blood values until I decide not to" Radcliffe to Bolt. Add Dibaba to the list I suppose.
I really feel sorry for you. You must be a blast to hang with on weekends.

This is a misnomer. I'm not sure if it's intentional or not, but she didn't improve "11 seconds in 1 year." First and foremost, she had a 3:57 PB from two previous seasons, and further, she ran 3:55 indoors in 2014.
That being said, around here it's hard not to doubt her.
WTF does a picture of really fit and muscle-toned athlete prove? All this whining and crying after every race final isn't accomplishing anything. Our sport is in a pretty precarious position for sure but speculating that anyone that does something extraordinary is doping doesn't help at all. It is frustrating for sure but somehow we have to kick back and enjoy the races for what they are and let the testing procedures try to work it out. It is time for some really drastic testing protocols to be implemented but in the mean time I am going to try to enjoy the efforts as they are produced.
Sifan Hassan
9. 2:26.86
4. 3:23.49 (56.63)
3. 4:09;34 (45.85)
Genzebe Dibaba
1. 2:25.65
1. 3:22.87 (57.22)
1. 4:08.09 (45.22)
with a first lap of 77, closing in 156/7 isn't so crazy
77 is 67:30 for a half marathon - you go run half marathon pace for the first part of a 1500 and see if that slows you down for the last 800. It wouldn't slow me down, I know that.
No doubt her improvement is amazing. But lets get the facts straight..
1500 m progression (Indoors and Outdoors)
2015 (24) 3:50.07 (WR outdoors)
2014 (23) 3:55.17 (WR indoors)
2013 (22) 3:57.54
2012 (21) 3:57.77
2011 (20) 4:05.90 also ran 14:37.56 5k
2010 (19) 4:04.80
2009 (18) N/A also ran 14:55.52 5k
Yes the WR was a big jump, but you guys are exaggerating quite a bit. I think its also worth pointing out that she may have focused on 5k at a younger age. The 14:37 5k in 2011 is pretty fast.
rojo:
1:57 off a flying start with a nice 700m warmup. This is her max.
In an open 800m she can't expect anything faster.
What triple?
my mistake by not looking at the big picture, there was still a big jump, anyway no one knows if she's in the juice or not, so we can only enjoy the races
And welcome to the world on the blatantly absurd.
As dirty a performance as there has ever been.
But, my new theory is over half of all the good performers cheat.
I am starting to take a Cycling and Pro Wrestling view of the Track and Field world.
Sifan Hassan AND Faith Kipyegon ran the last 800 almost as fast as Dibaba, anyone get their last 800? sidenote Sifan Hassan is on the startlist for tonights 800, hopefully she runs it.

lol starting?? Athletics is just as bad or even worst than cycling
She could run 1:55 at the 800m.
With that, she could be doing the triple (or at least 3 medals) next year (like Brojos said) if the schedule was right.
She is incredible but triple is nonsense. Can't recover for that, no matter the schedule. So happy she wins her first outdoor major.
She runs an amazing race, shows the entire field how superior she is, and all the LR community is able to talk about is cheating.
Newsflash: maybe she is cheating, maybe she isn't. You can't prove it, you can't disprove it. What's the point? Why don't we just close this forum, once and for all? Everyone is cheating, all times are wrong, all tracks are chinese tracks, everyone is blood doping (maybe w/ turtle blood, ha!).
Faith Kipyegon gets no love here but she too is an amzing talent. Don't understand why those wondering which of Simpson or Rowbury would get the bronze were so dismissive of her. At least I got this ballot right in the BroJo's contest after disaster all around starting with the men's marathon.
Do you mean the 800-1500-5000 triple or the 1500-5000-10000 triple?
Why stop there? She should go for the 800-1500-5000-10000 quadruple!

She could do it if the schedule was in her favour. The heats are barely more than a training run for her.
Day 1: 1500 heats. simple
Day 3: 1500 final
Day 4: 5k heat. even after a 1500 final this is a walk in the park
Day 7: 5k final
Day 8: 800 heats. another training run
Day 9: 800 semi
Day 11: 800 final
