laughable response
can't you read ???
i said track-side temperature !!!
i don't care if the meeting was held in antartica, i am interested in the track-side temperature
it was NOT 71F at track-side
can't you read ???
i said track-side temperature !!!

a guy who has run in all sort of conditions like Ryun woud damn well know difference between 95 & 71
i also have little faith in a link called "farmer's almanac"
is it the USA Meteorological Society figure ???
you clearly have no clue
any guy of north european origin woud run a 1500 damn lot quicker in 71F than 95F
at least 1s & nearer 2s
that's from over 40y of watching top-class athletics & nearly 95% of every major race i have wanted to see in past 40+y
eh ???
a recent study showed average temperature for 1500 wrs was ~ 70F
why wasn't it 95F ???
i have watched over 40y of top-class athletics & near 95% of every race i wanted to & no one runs anywhere close to their best possible 1500 in 95F
there is no way 95F is anything than a suicidal temperature for a north-european guy to attempt to run a huge 1500pb
on top of that LA was smog capital of western world
air-quality so bad that ovett the 1500WR holder had to be stretchered off as his breathing was so badly affected in '84 !!!
utterly laughable !!!
on a north-european origin guy it woud add best part of 2s to a flat-out 1500
eh ???
since there have been no studies of effect of temperature on 1500 for elite guys, i go on my vast experience
my vast experience tells me it costs near 2s for a north-european origin guy in a flat-out 1500
what "factual records" ???
go fetch the "factual record" of recorded track-side temperature in in Ryun's WR ???
yes
i quote the science when it is available
if not, i use my vast experience of having seen near every 1500 wr starting with Bayi's in 3'32.1 in '74, live or within hours/week
only one i have never seen is morceli's 3'28.8
what is your scientific background ?
