What's sub-27:1x? You can't have sub followed by a non-definite number, that's a double variable
Do you mean sub-27:11? Sub-27:19? You put an x next to 1 so you might mean sub 27:20? But no one knows, heck, you need differential equations to solve this
Alright I'll help you out. I guess you never got past algerbra 2. So listen up.
So on a line graph. I have establisher the value's of 27:1X
The problem is this is no algebra 2 ( spelled it correctly too) he wrote 27:1X which (27:1)X is a ratio and is used on the internets to sometimes show (k choose n or Binomial Distribution notation) so really we have a k = 27 and n = 1 so then we get 27 / 1! (factorial) which is simply 27 so we can assume that he will run under 27 at stanford with his other lower bound of 26:55 therefore we get OP's range to be 26:59.9 - 26:55
Not sure what all the fuss about true is? He's a chump. I remember when Ahmed Haji smoked his ugly butt in new England's in back to back years
explainer to the morons wrote:
It's anything between sub-27:19 and sub-27:10. So he says Ben will run 27:18.99 or faster.
This
Why is stick even allowed to post here?
27:17

Yea right, New Englands are important.
True is the real deal, the big deal and the best deal.

Really? Your gona get caught up on this?
Alright I'll help you out. I guess you never got past algerbra 2. So listen up.
So on a line graph. I have establisher the value's of 27:1X(This is the upper limit. So less then or equal too.) So 27:19.999999999999999999 max repeating for flipping ever if you wish.
And the lower limit I put a difinitive no lower then 26:55.
So therefore on a line graph. My prediction is Ben True will run between 27:19.99999999999999999999999999 and 26:55.
Happy?
You fuiqqboy
uhh, what about X=0? 27:10 is still 27:1X... As is 27:09.999... You fuiqqboy
I'm calling 27:30 or slower for the winner. No faster
Is there going to be a rabbit and if so how far/how fast?
True ran faster at the BAA 5k than last year (unfortunately no Gebremeskel to test himself against) so we should expect at least as good a performance as his 1302 last year. Since he's an endurance guy a 27:10 is definitely believable on a great day.
The IAAF standard for the worlds is 27:45.
I reckon True will get that at least.
If his mission is to challenge for a medal at worlds, he'll need to work on doing a killer last 1 - 2K with a 54 or less final lap off a sub 27:00 pace. Not impossible, but a tall order.

What's the standard again for the OT and the Olympics again? Anyone?

Except he didn't lose to an Aussie.. Do you follow the sport?
The worlds standard is 27:45
The Olympics standard is 28:00

They all talk funny and look the same.

They do all talk funny, but they don't look the same. I'm sure your post is in jest, though I'm always surprised at those who can't distinguish a British accent from an Australian accent from a South African accent.
Well done.

He ran 13:02 last year in a time trail. I agree he is an XC and road beast. But honestly I think he can do anything if you put him in it.
But did he look relaxed?

Way off the mark? Maybe. The OP was assuming a race. The results indicate a time trial to hit 27:45.
