He is starting the Centro-bot?

It can't be a group change, why would he say "Coach and I are making big changes"? I doubt Salazar would be involved in a group change lol
I hear you, but in order to not rattle the NOP apple cart they could just agree to say it was mutual. And believe it or not, adults can actually have rational disagreements without fighting.
The l carnitine mess might have fallout - I've heard Centro senior is kind of a bruiser and might be seriously mad at NOP.
Or not - I'm just making stuff up here.
it's most likely something trivial.
If Salazar made Centro son take l-carnitine, whether prohibited or not, I think Centro dad would have a major fit.
Both AlSal and Centro Jr know that and he wouldn't tweet about it.
I think it could be that he is NOT going to run the 5000 this year at all. That would be a major change from last year.

I don't think people make announcementa as to what they're NOT going to do...
He's pulling a Bruce Jenner?
If you follow him he constantly post this king of vague stuff. Probably for attention.
Rumor has it that he'll be running at Drake. It's just a schedule change.
I've heard from the grapevine that Centro is making his debut at 10,000 this year. NOP is going to make the podium all red, white, and blue this year, and next year in Rio as well.
So outside of Centro and Rupp, who else is making the podium red white and blue this year and next? Or are you considering the UK as red white and blue also?
I predict it won't be anything that I consider "major".

I could possibly see that, but I don't think I would classify that as a "major change"
What is best for a 1500m runner, running some 5k's or running more 800's?
Centro has done well at 3200m (HS) and 5k (last year). He is probably not as good at 800m, then again Mo wasn't a good 1500m guy, and he suddenly became one the best. Maybe Centro can drop a stellar 800m, and shock everyone like Mo did.

I saw that tweet a little while ago as well. Looking through his tweets it appears he doesn't talk about his training much. Wonder of that means something big is coming. Like a major change? But to what?
New hair color. He's going blond.
and blue contacts?
maybe a new gf?

Thanks for helping us grasp the reality of the situation, br0!
I don't think this is going to be a small announcement. Hearing from some training partners of his that something has been brewing for quite some time. Hope he announces soon.

Probably going to double for World Champs. 800/1500 or 1500/5000.
Hopefully this. I love it when top guys double. Makes things a lot more interesting.
I think he is going to hold his thumbs differently, I know they made that change with Ritz right after he ran 12:56 and it really helped. Not to mention the other improvements to his form that lead to injuries, surgeries and almost the end to his career.
Maybe Centro will announce that he will no longer celebrates his "wins" before he crosses the finish line--no Makhloufi victory disasters. He has finally learned to run though the finish line; after all these years. He will introduce his new post-finish victory dance after the next race he wins.
