For world competitive purposes, American men's 1500m/mile is shallow. Centro is probably going to be the only American worth talking about for 2015 Worlds.
I'm a huge Leo fan but he's getting old and odds are against another medal run. The third fastest American for all of 2014 was Rupp with his eleventh place 3:34 at Brussels.
The other guys are just "good", not realistic medal contenders. Blankenship has raised his profile but I don't see him getting to the top level at 1500m.
Need to look to the next generation. Maybe Soratos.
