Interesting.
Interesting.
I don't feel shit for that guy. He signed a 2.5 million insurance policy if he can't playin the NFL. he is covered either way.
The Miami guy was all over him all the way to the goal line the fact that he was not pushing when the ball was there does not negate the call... If you watch ref as he comes up to make the call he calls holding and then realizes that the ball was in the air and changes it to pass interference... I don't know what the announcers were thinking other than being biased towards Miami...
Damn right. That dude was all over him like a bad habit. Ohio State wins! Ohio State wins! Ohio State wins!
And again, who told you they would? Oh yeah, that would be me.
Hey, it's a 60 minute game. That's 3 1/2 hours in real time, plenty of time to make enough plays that you don't have to worry about the refs. If you don't want the refs to be involved in the outcome, don't turn the ball over five times, don't get called for a bunch of penalties, don't let a team get a first down on 4th and 14 in overtime and, with the award for the dumbest play of the year in the guy's pocket, don't run out a pick when you are six yards deep in the end zone. And if all else fails, score more points.
OSU played a better 60 minutes (and change) and they deserved to win.
The call, by the way, was right on. You will always get flagged if you mug the guy without looking back for the ball and acting like you are trying to make a play on it. Always.
What's your deal Buckeye...What's your deal Buckeye...What's your deal Buckeye.
Sorry, I got used to reading his crap in 3's. I realize that you are happy that the state of Ohio finally accomplished something worth being the armpit of Michigan for, but what was your prediction on the Brown's game? Who did you say would win that one???
Never been a Browns fan, so who cares?
And...
The reason Ohio doesn't fall into the Ohio River is because Michigan SUCKS!!!
Buckeyes win! Buckeyes win! Buckeyes win!
Say it with me now - The Ohio State Buckeyes are the best college football team in the country.
Woo Hoo! Woo Hoo! Woo Hoo!
Don't worry about McGahee. 2 weeks ago he took out a 2.5 million dollar insurance policy fot just this eventuality. If he doesn't go to the NFL he'll start life with a nice chunk of change in his pocket.
"RE: Ohio State is National Champions"
Buckeyes don't attend too many English classes I guess.
Smart kid to take out that insurance policy. Vicious hit but in football on that level the the philosophy on tackling is: "to 'em and through 'em", which means get to the guy with the ball on the best angle and go through him. Because McGahee is so quick and strong there is no chance of getting him down with an arm tackle or by grabbing a leg so defenders have to hit through a guy like that. If his leg wasn't planted the safety would have just taken his legs out and he would popped back up and been ready for the next play. Unfortunately for McGahee his leg was firmly planted and a 180 Lb. missle running a 4.2 exploded into his knee. Not good times.
Just where did McGahee get the premium for such a policy?
Perhaps not, but the grammatical error I made isn't the one you think I did.
It should have been Ohio State is National Champion or Ohio State is the National Champion, and not Ohio State are National Champions as you think it should be.
Regardless of my typo in the heat of my excitement, the Buckeyes are the National Champions.
I told ya! I told ya! I told ya!
Not positive but i heard on a radio show that he got a loan from the NCAA for the premium. All that money is tax free too that he will receive.
