When I was 26 I dated a 41-year-old woman. I met her in community theater. I found her to be beautiful and made a pass at her. She was in the process of a divorce (she had been married to a judge) and she told me I was the first person to hit on her in 10 years (people were afraid of her husband). Anyway, it was a wonderful time. She was a very successful attorney who made a lot of money and she took care of everything at a time when I really need help. It was like an angel had fallen out of the sky. But as someone else arleady noted, the age difference does have some weirdness....friends, cultural references, etc. While the relationship didn't last, and she has since remarried, some 25 years later I still consider her to be one of my best friends, and would do anything for her. I say go for it.
