Ran a masters PR - 28:30 for 5 miles
I think this turkey trot thing is going to stick.

Ran a twenty second PR of 16:23 for the 5k. I was sixth overall. The champion? Nick Symmonds. I started right behind him. It was pretty sweet.
33:46 for 10k, tied for 1st with club teammate. It was a good workout, it was very cold in the Twin Cities this morning, right around 0* at race start.
Won the 40-49 age group at the neighborhood 5k by 4 minutes
Won the Hailey, Idaho (Elev. 5330') Turkey Trot for the fifth time in a row. The 5k course was icier than in years past, but thanks to my presently superior fitness I was able to dip under my course record from last year by two seconds for a 16:43. I imagine without the ice it would have been low 16s to high 15s.
Nothing posted that seems to quite capture the true holiday spirit....
GOBBLE GOBBLE MUTHERFUCKERS!!
17:43. Better than the 19:xx or whatever I ran last year at least.
Montauk Turkey Trot, 35:25 for 3rd place in the 6 mile race. Nice jog to get ready for the rest of the day.
15:43
beat my road 5k PR by 58 seconds and my track 5000m pr by four seconds.
Just came back from injury two weeks ago. No racing for me for a while.

Good job!
Showed up to Burbank 5k. My fast friend said he hoped to win some money. After warming up we lined up at the front and surprised to see David Torrance, Will Leer and Sergio Reyes. Very cool to be lined up next to such great talented runners. And i thought 'well thats that' for my friend.

Thank you. I can't believe I had to wait until the second page to see this. This site ain't what it used to be. In the good ol' days, we'd have seen that within the first three responses.

So what was it for your friend? Don't leave us hanging.
I cherrypicked a smaller event this year to improve my shot at winning. I ran a 16:20 which would have been good enough to win any of the previous 5 years turkey trots, but instead barely placed top 10. God damn team of college runners showed up at the last second and ran 15's, and then nobody behind me for two minutes.
The worst part? The 10k I originally was going to do was won in only 36:30. F*** my luck.
First time turkey trotting for me yesterday. Won by 10 seconds just over 16. Second place, who was also the defending champ and recent high school star, was heard complaining about people taking it too seriously after. Probably because I took my turkey trot celebration ideas from letsrun...

Ran Burbank a few years ago and Will was there. He won the 5k in 14:36 that year. As for me this year, ran Cleveland (5 miles) in a minute slower than I was hoping for. Probably due to the slush - 6 inches of slush and soaked shoes.
St. Paul Turkey Trot - 0* F, or as I prefer -18*C.
Ran with my 10 year old in the 5K. She ran 28:04 and was very happy. She was struggling in the last mile so we did Fartlek every other light pole for the last 3/4 mile.
We were properly dressed and the weather was no problem. Somehow she was hot and ran with her gloves in her hands the whole way.
Ran my 12th Manchester Road Race. Not my best time but in my mid Masters age not bad. We had real elites at our race. :p
Won the PGA West (CA) 3 mile turkey trot in 15:51. Flat course, perfect weather. Fun time.
