come on. It's definitely "Event Horizen."

The Exorcist and any 70's era horror flick. Phantasm is another one that is so weird and scary. The original Amityville, as well as Salem's Lot I also make you fear the dark.
Gosh that took longer than I thought to delete those posts on the election.
I will add "Banned from Television" and "Faces of Death" to the list. The ones where true crimes take place are the scariest to me.
Ghoulies
I said don't disturb me when i'm cleaning my room!!!!
Mom said when i wear this badge you're supposed to treat me like a man of the law--doofy
mom also said for you to stop sticking your dick in the vacuum cleaner!---doofy's hot sister
How did Doofy not get a spin-off, or a spot on one of the scary movie sequels?
Shining
The Ring
last 20 minutes of Requim for a Dream

Probably the movie called "Scary Movie" It has a few "scary" things in it
1.doofy poking the vacuum cleaner
2.the "gail swallows" comment
3.the kielbasa in doofy's pants
4.doofy turning verbal kint in the end
5.the list goes on....
Scariest Movie ever!
I almost shit myself when I saw Doofy come out of his room with the vacum cleaner.
I havent seen a lot of horror movies but recently tis been
#1 - The Forgotten
#2 - The Village
but Ive heard Saw and The Grudge are really scary too
Cabin Fever was hilarious! Definately not scary but twisted. Best lines would have to be from that drunk cop and the dude with the green FU hat. Nice to see good ol Rider Strong aka Sean Hunter from Boy Meets World too. Come to think of it, the movie would have been even better if they just would have used the Boy Meets World cast.
As for scariest movies...Exorcist and the original Nightmare on Elm Street movies scared the royal crap out of me. Part of that was I saw all of them before I turned 10.
Yes, by far. I need to watch that again.

Twin Peaks
Eraser Head
Lost Highway
Scary Movie has to be the best horror movie.
At the very beginning when Carmen Electra gets her top pulled off by the masked man, who happens to be Doofy, terrified me. I had to almost leave the room.
The whole movie just creeped me out.
Weird....Yes!
Scary....????
There is one thing in any movie that will make me jump out of my seat and run screaming to the door: If the title credits say "Starring Brad Pitt". It is curious combination of fright and nausea.
Jason popping out of the water is EASILY the best "jump scene" I've ever seen. Holy shit, that is incredible.
I also totally forgot to mention Jaws. It really changes your view of the ocean, especially if viewed at a young age! :) What a great movie
Two modern horror flicks that I really like and are pretty nail-biting - Stir of Echoes with Kevin Bacon (think about a much more intense version of the Sixth Sense) and What Lies Beneath with Harrison Ford and Pfeifer (sp).
Event horizon.
1. exorcist
2. amityville horror
3. shining
4. Halloween 1,2(big micheal myers fan)
other movies have scared me but tend to lose their appeal after watching them more than once. (sixth sense, the ring, etc.)
also the saw looks pretty sweet. has any one seen trailer to a move called white noise, that looked a little creepy
Hitchcock's The Birds
For me - yeah tell me this doesn't say something about my Catholic upbringing.... but the Omen and The Exorcist take the cake for me... can't believe noone has mentioned The Omen yet...
To a lesser extent a lot of Prince of Darkness was pretty freaky, although the end got very hokey...
Typical scare movies like the Original nightmare on elm street, friday the 13th, and Halloween certainly were good but were more jump and suprise factor for me than actually really being scared like the previous list. I also think they lose something with the umpteen sequals that were spawned after...
Second the Alien movies as well esp #1, #2 was also good and had some hilarious lines in it as well...

God help us if Lynch ever decides to make a true horror movie.
