First mile 4:34....25 more of those and we'll be sub 2!

If they continue this pace they will break two hours.
46 degrees, low humidity, wind between 2-8 mph.
It doesn't get any better than that, not even in Berlin.
If Bekele doesn't run 2:03 today, he never will.
LOL?
Interesting that Bernard Koech, previously with Mizuno, is running for Adidas now (in the BOOOOST).
4:52 split for mile 2
4:52 2nd mile. Maybe they should have asked Berlin about recruiting real pacers.
4:52 for the second mile split. So uneven
Is the live stream working for anyone? It is not working for me.
Haha, they'd be heading for ~1:59:40 or so.. It unlikey the pace will stay like that, though
4:46 3rd mile
Works for me on IE, not Chrome or Firefox
Bekele 2.02.39. Come on GOAT!
Joanie just mentioned Hastings up front w/ lead pack of women. women's splits a bit slow. Men right at course record pace
Amy Hastings in the lead?
reinstalled adobe flash player, and now works on firefox
The weather is nearly perfect. Walking over there was more wind I felt than ideal but the wind right off the lake may not be the wind inland.
I'm assuming the miles are accurate as Sean Hartnett's crew is here.
1 4:34
2 4:53
3 4:46
5k 14:42
4:34 for a first mile is not a good thing. The yo-yoing isn't a good thing.
Pack of 9 and 3 pacers still together.
Women's race. Amy Hastings is now leading
1 5:17
2 5:43
3 5:37
5k 17:14
Yep, Amy in lead.
Would be nice to hear a Hutchings/Revis pairing on the call.
The women's first mile was also significantly faster than their second mile. I wonder if there was a tailwind for just that first mile.
