Just because he ran those times as a freshman at OSU doesn't mean he would have ran them in Cali.

No one in their right mind would. He is, after all, a Jamul Toad.
Now THAT was a running club.
Remember the BOTHAA?
Boston Over the Hill Athletic Association- better know as the Over the Hill Gang.
AAU wouldn't let them use over the hill gang so they told them that BOTHAA was a local Native American Tribe- who could say no to that?
Will you please stop misusing the word "sauce"?

He's never going to make it at OTC or any other running program. He's always injured. He's following the path of Andrew Wheating, only Mac has actually been worse. He must be 24-25 by now?
Are you serious?? Check your facts before you post stupidity. 2 outdoor 1500m titles, 7 all American teams, 2 team titles, 5 Penn Relay watches. Pretty sure he's been healthy for almost 2 years now. Let him get in some fast European races with pacers and I'm sure he'll be able to drop his 1500m/mile time.
Jock-rider much? What brand of shampoo does he use?

Obviously a jock-rider. I mean he just hurled personal attacks to defend Fleet, didn't even try to argue with facts.
No wait, that's what snifferofun did. More of the typical LRC whiny boy drivel responses. When you can't make a strong argument, make a personal attack.
I believe he uses that shampoo called "1500 Champ Back to Back" it hasn't been made in over 20 years. Good stuff, but you have to work your ass off to get it.

When he posts a pic of it on his public instagram page, I'll be sure to let your jealous ass know so you can hate some more.
European races with pacers? Who can get better pacers than Lawi whom he sat on him in every race and out kick him by a microsecond to win the title. A pacer that takes you from gun to tape. It will be interesting to see if he can pull that technique in Europe.

It's called winning the race, by a f'g nanosecond it's still winning. Fleet beat Lawi in the OR/AZ dual by .75 seconds - even when you have a bigger margin of victory, it's still a win.
By the way, you seem to be the one with the obvious "pulling technique", like all the other jerk offs who constantly hate on these MBs

Let's be real here, the only half decent 1500m guy OTC has currently is McNamara and he's maybe in 3:36 shape right now which is probably also what Fleet is capable of at the moment. OTC's roster has a lots of guys that are real sub-elite types that wouldn't even be good enough to run collegiately (at least with a full ride) at U of O.
If Fleet can stay injury free he'll be the top dog at OTC by this time next year.
Patrick Casey....? 2nd at USAs and has run 3:35 twice already?[/quote]
Same old cynical immature BS from LRC's "experts."
Mac Fleet is a great talent and even a better racer
he still needs to get to last year PRs though of 1:46.xx 800 and 3:38.xx
