How about Cheney? Multiple deferments because he was too busy to serve his country.
Romney? "I had better things to do than being drafted into the army." He went to France to dodge the draft, but did march in pro war gatherings.
Limbaugh? He dodged the draft by claiming that the pimple on his butt was 4F.
Reagan? Spent WWII lounging by his Beverly Hills pool.
Why is your knee jerk reaction to bring up George Bush or your other list of republicans.
You don realize it's possible to dislike both a George Bush and Obama. Or your entire list and Obama.
It's fine that you want to defend him but you don't have to bring in an entire list of people irrelevant to the topic at hand. Poor form and debating skills at it's finest.

Thank you. All you "forward" thinking obama lovers always bringing up republicans. The only thing I look forward to is Barry's trial.

Again, you people don't get it. Radical islam has no desire for peace and will never seek peace as we think of it. Why is this so hard for you people to understand?
They do not think like you do.
The only peace they seek is to convert the entire world, or eliminate any who will not convert. They are not looking for co-existence, or for us to "just leave them alone." They are driven by a religious and political doctrine that doesn't allow for any non-muslims to exist, anywhere!
They aren't interested in negotiation. They aren't looking for a win-win. Negotiation is a tool to be used to get what they want, not to find a common middle ground. There is no common middle ground.
They are the enemy, not because we wanted them to be, but because they are out to destroy us in any way they can. The biggest mistake anyone can make is to fail to know your enemy.
Haven't any of you seen "Red Dawn"?
you sound smart dude . . .

Thanks "dude"
Now go do some research on radical islam
of course there is wrote:
Of course there was a reason for Obama wanting to release the 5 most dangerous Gitmo prisoners.
The 5 most dangerous? Get a clue. They were government officials. There is essentially no chance any Americans will die because of their release. But, hey, don't let the facts get in the way of your ignorant hyperbole.

Politics has turned all Americans into morons.
Former Pfc. Jose Baggett, 27, of Chicago, was also in Blackfoot Company and said he was close to two men "killed because of his (Bergdahl's) actions."
"He walked off," Baggett told CNN. "He left his guard post. Nobody knows if he defected or he's a traitor or he was kidnapped. What I do know is, he was there to protect us, and instead he decided to defer from America and go and do his own thing. I don't know why he decided to do that, but we spent so much of our resources, and some of those resources were soldiers' lives."
Many soldiers on the ground at the time said insurgents were able to take advantage of the intense search for Bergdahl.
"A huge thing in-country is not building patterns. Well when you are looking for a person every day that creates a pattern. While searching for him, ambushes and IEDs picked up tremendously. Enemy knew we would be coming. IEDs started being placed more effectively in the coming weeks. Ambushes were more calculated, cover and concealment was used," Full tweeted.
On August 18, 2009, Staff Sgt. Clayton Bowen and Pfc. Morris Walker were killed by an IED in the search for Bergdahl. Staff Sgt. Kurt Curtiss was killed on August 26; 2nd Lt. Darryn Andrews and Pfc. Matthew Michael Martinek were killed after being attacked in Yahya Khail District on September 4; Staff Sgt. Michael Murphrey was killed September 5 by an IED at the Forward Operating Base, Sharana.
Susan Rice said:
“He is going to be safely reunited with his family. He served the United States with honor and distinction. And we’ll have the opportunity eventually to learn what has transpired in the past years, but what’s most important now is his health and well being, that he have the opportunity to recover in peace and security and be reunited with his family. Which is why this is such a joyous day.”
So your source says he walked off, or was kidnapped. That sure clears things up.

The complete circumstances surrounding Bergdahl's capture. He should be given the presumption of innocence until proven otherwise. Getting him back is an important part of the process.
Not much is known about the five Taliban released. Many Afghans rounded up after the invasion were erroneously labeled high level Taliban. In any case, the Taliban is not Al Queda, and there are factions within the Taliban.
What the administration thought would be "euphoria" over the release... This is pure conjecture. They might have expected a shitstorm and tried to put a good spin on it or they may have expected a euphoric reaction.
Congressman Dutch Ruppersberger, the top-ranking Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, calls this a “dangerous precedent that puts all Americans at risk throughout the world.”
Ruppersberger is one of a growing chorus of critics who say five Taliban prisoners is too high a cost.
“Since World War Two we have not negotiated with terrorists or other groups,” Ruppersberger said, according to WJZ’s media partner the Baltimore Sun. “What concerns me is the future. This puts all Americans at risk throughout the world, including our men and women on the front line…for kidnapping.”
Bergdahl, who left his Army base in 2009 before being captured by the Taliban, was released after the U.S. exchanged five high-level Taliban members kept at Guantanamo Bay.
What the administration thought would be “euphoria” over the successful release of Bergdahl instead brought a wave of criticism that flooded the White House for exchanging terrorists for an accused deserter.
The whole point of the move was to send a message to the terrorist community that we are now open for negotiations with them.

So the reptards want obama on trial but don't care if their heroes are draft dodging cowards. And traitors. Reagan was a traitor for giving weapons to Iran. Bush senior armed sadaam. bush junior was a deserter and draft dodger. Cheney traitorously exposed the identities of our spies, and was a cowardly draft dodger. Just proves that republicans hate America. Personally, I think that ALL politicians should be executed.
I'm no Obama fan, but this strikes me as partisan spin. If the guy had been killed while a captive it would have been, "Obama lets American hero be killed."

No that's never been the case before. Daniel Pearl anyone?

Maybe, or maybe not. The President made this far worse by doing a Rose Garden political event. His advisers blew it even more by not understanding the father would look and speak like a taliban.
The President not understanding the situation and setting it up to be a big political victory has made this far worse for him.
Not to mention breaking the law.
And if it is partisan, then why are many democrats speaking out against it?

Afghans are Cauc-Asian people who are traced to Ancient Mesopotamia and Ancient Persia. Afghans are seen by the racist US goverment as human beings which is why the fibe POWs were released for one US militian. In contrast, Palestinians are half-white and half-black the same as all Semitic people, thus are not seen as negros -- not human. Witness Obama's snipers daily shootings in the back of Palestinian childern in Gaza and West Bank.
