There are few guys missing, like Wheating, Cain, etc. I assume you can't get into the Pre DL meet with no 2014 marks and this is the last chance.

Wheating has been missing for 2 years and Cain still has more proms to attend.

IS Willis specifically seeking out Rupp? After the tweets earlier this year, I hope Willis can give him a scare in this 'off' distance for him.
Which "tweets" would those be?
This is not an attempt to be the typical Letsrun turd, but I think Jake Robertson is currently recovering from an injury in Kenya. I expect his twin brother, Zane, to be the one lacing up for this race.
Rupp is only entered in the 5000. Given all the milers, it'll probably start at no faster than 13:20 pace until the final 800, maybe 1000 if Rupp decides to go early. I assume there's no rabbits?

That's not "tweets", that's a tweet, singular, and a vanilla one at that.
It's laughable that people are deluded to think that Willis would go out of his way to "seek out" Rupp. Nick will do what's best for Nick. He isn't Solinsky.
Sorry but Oxy is in Eagle Rock which is nowhere near the Ocean. Its actually very close to the valley which tends to be the hottest spots in LA. I live in the neighborhood and know that it could stay warm late into the evening but that track is Very fast.

Oxy has pacers for all events.
Temperatures forecast to be mid-80s at 7:30 dropping to mid/upper-70s at 10:30 with ~30% humidity.
Meet will be streamed live by USATF.tv:

Collis Birmingham is not too shabby from 1500-half marathon. With a rabbit and not overly insane temps it may get down to 13:1X low. Not sure how strong Willis is, but I don't think I'd want him around with 3 or 4 laps to go if the pace is soft.

FYI -----
Galen Rupp will open his outdoor season at Occidental on Thursday night, running the 5,000 meters. Galen will be racing his first 5K since he broke the American Indoor Record in January, running 13:01. Although Alberto doesn't expect the times to be that fast he is looking for a hard effort. “This is really a chance for everyone to work on closing hard and is a great tune up for the Pre Classic at the end of the month.”
Matthew Centrowitz Jr. will also be making the trip down to Oxy, to run the 1500. Fresh off running 13:20 in the 5K last weekend, a PR, the 2013 World Championships Silver Medalist is looking forward to running in a fast 1500. "I’m looking for an honest pace but the main goal is to get out there and compete."
Joining Matthew in the 1500 is Cam Levins. Cam ran a qualifying time in the 10K at Payton Jordan 2 weeks ago, so this is a chance for him to work on his closing speed. Cam said, “I ran 3:36 last year at Oxy and I’m looking to run fast again this year. This is a great chance for me to work on my speed which I will need later in the season in the 5K and 10K.”

Jake, I think, is down in Orange County, so he may race at Oxy.
I heard Levins is out.
Huling to go sub-8:15.

You beat me to it. I was wondering when it moved.
Ya this place is HOT today and will be worse tomorrow.
Oh and if any of you are coming out to the meet bring some padding. The seating is on concrete and can get uncomfortable after a while.
Oh yeah, sorry guys, here's the Preformance List:

Got some heat sheets for the OP (who actually managed to screw up Robinson/Robertson, Jack/Jake, the fact that Jake is a New Zealander and not Australian, Jake Robertson has the 13:16 and not Brett Robinson, etc.)

Is Mead on the team?
With the excessive heat and all the fires in Southern Cal, the air quality is most likely "not so good"?
