The stuff they sell at the NYCM expo probably costs double.

running tights lol. What do you need to save money for? A club to fight off polar bears?
I think, it's because they are specially designed to work for runners. This involves using different construction of materials in different parts of the tights. Plus , of course, designers' work, etc... before it reaches a buyer. There are cheaper versions, but probably they won't last,
eastbay seems to be the best deal so far.
Any suggestions for quality generic tights for dudes?
I have some of the crazy expensive nike ones, but I'd like another pair. Would like something that (a) doesn't chafe, and (b) will keep my balls/legs warm down to 10 degrees or so.
Thoughts?
Some of the Easybay ones are 9.99. Are those at all good?
Is it better to wait for a sale on some real tights? These Asics are only 35, are they any good?
Same for split shorts? Any good ideas on cheap unbranded shorts?
Two years ago I walked into a Building 19 for something else and came across a whole rack of black tights. They were $6.00 a piece. Unfortunately I only grabbed one pair and I still wear them. I haven't seen them there since. No key pockets, no nothing, but a great pair of running tights. Little things like those key pockets, liners in shorts really drive up the cost. Otherwise there's really not much cost that goes into making them. A little material, a little labor. They should all cost less than $10.00. There's a demand so capitalism runs it's course.
