I, too, have seen it and it is a sexy shoe. As someone who runs in 4 different shoes for easy runs, uptempo days, and track workouts, I can safely say the ZE7 could be my EVERY DAY shoe.
Plus, it looks sick.

In what way is the fit better? Thanks.
So much hype around this shoe!!
Doesn't make any sense to push back the release date :(

So, two pair?
Is there any more confirmation on the release date being pushed back?
I agree that it doesn't make much sense for it to overlap or be so close to late spring/early summer shoes (glide, vomero, pegasus)
Brooks makes much better trainers than the Nike elites.
Nike makes the best spikes though.
Released date pushed back to 8/1.

Zoom Fly is a great trainer with mild support.
2014 is a great year for Nike and lightweight trainers finally! I just finished using my last pair of Zoom Skylon 11.
Awesome. The 6 does have just tad bit too much bulk. I'd love it if they trimmed it down a bit without changing too much.
Is the Zoom Fly's support similar to maybe what you would find in a fast twitch? Like a very mild post? I supinate so I if the smallest amount of support just rolls my feet further onto their outside edges.
The ZoomFly is very mild. I also slightly supinate but the dynamic support doesn't control my foot because I don't bear much pressure on the medial side.
8/1?????? Ridiculous and appalling.
Bump

What shoe is comparable to the elite 7 at brooks?

Launch
It's been about 6 mos since I tried it on but the upper is a little more maleable and not as stiff. However, that changes the feel so some may not like the initial lack of plushness (is that word?) and "security" in the upper.
If I remember correctly the zoom air will be bottom loaded instead of top loaded for a smoother feel under the forefoot.
Been awhile but I'm trying hard to remember details.

I guess that's right. same weight, approximately same heel to toe drop. I ran in a couple pairs of launches. It liked it but didn't love it. The zoom air/crash pad in the forefoot of the ZE6 is really what makes the shoe for me, which also is pretty rare feature in a shoe.
it also annoys me that in almost all shoes most of the technology is in the heel of the shoe. As a midfoot striker that does me almost no good and is just a waste of money.
Thanks, el segundo. What about width? Same, wider, narrower?
And a question for anyone... why are shoe companies continuing to put out daily trainers with the same 'significant' heel to toe drop? In other words, why doesn't Nike keep the Elites or Pegasus basically the same in other aspects, but lower the heel to toe to ~6mm? One of the positive results of the minimalist movement was the realization that most of us don't need a big heel to toe drop.

1)Width is better up front as upper gives a bit more. I think it's built on the same last so it's "technically" the same shape but uppers can make a huge difference. Heel fit was about the same if memory serves.
2) As much as we like to think 6-8mm offsets are the "sweet spot," most runners still like a traditional pitch in their shoe. That said, most of the market is normalizing to slightly (very slightly in some cases) lower drops but just as important they are making shoes that perform better for mid-to-forefoot strikers across the board no matter the drop/stack etc etc etc.
Bump...
Any more info on shoe? Pics?
Loving the ZE 6!!!!

Fun fact: this year the Nike Pegasus 31 will have an 8mm offset!
