Orange County would be good, but the soonest I could be there/ready is 7pm. Do you know a route (or track) with lights?

I'll race you Saturday morning if you can make it to Santa Monica. If you give me the green light I'll plan out a course for us.

Unfortunately I can't make it to Southern California in the morning. If you're willing to race later, I'm definitely up for that.
I'll race you. How about Sacramento, Saturday morning?

Is noon too late for you?
I could likely do noon, but, any chance you would make it by 9:30-10:00am?
If you guys are racing in Sac, this is the course you should race (or something similar). Finish on steps of State Capitol.

Watch up for cars/trains when you enter downtown, but shouldn't be too bad.
Santa Ana River Trail. 1.5 mile race on asphalt surface. You pick the time.
Make it a mile and i will show too.
Im in if its south of Oceanside. Can't do pendelton. Fiesta Island is almost exactly 5 miles around. If there are a few people for Santa Ana River Trail in OC I will try to make it up.

If I leave super super early I might be able to get in slightly before 11, and I'd need a little time for warmup before the race. So 10am is probably not possible. Let me know if you can commit to a noon race.

I can only get down there by 5pm. If that works I'll do it, if not you guys should race each other!

Sounds good, let's race at noon, Maidu Park, a loop course of 2.22 miles on a bike path. It has a couple of short little hills and several turns. Your choice if we do 1 or 2 loops.

Sounds good! I sent you a friend request on mapmyrun because it won't let me see the map without doing so. I'll let you know later whether I'd prefer one loop or two.
Do you want to put a sixpack on the line for this, or loser gives the winner his jersey?
Whoops, just set it to public. First time mapmyrun user...
Sixpack and jersey? There is a BevMo right around the corner :)
hey guys i'm still down to join this meetup. i can make it saturday morning as well, and i live just ~10 miles from downtown sac.
i think the easiest course to follow though, for OP, would be just x miles on the bike trail, or maybe even something like a lap around Old Sac.
i provided my email here, i don't have a mapmyrun account.
as for the spoils, with over two people i don't know what we'd do. i'm over 21, but i like the jersey idea better.
OP has to go at noon. All meet at Sac State and then out/back along river trail?
Winner takes every jersey?

All right! I will bring a sixpack from here. My jersey is dark blue with gray on the sides. I'll be at the start line ready to race at exactly 12 noon. Let's do one loop.

Sorry, didn't see this until after I replied...
I am definitely good with the Maidu loop, it's very easy to follow...are you okay with that?
On the wager: let's say winner takes the jerseys, and then the sixpack wager will just be between me and Scissors.
Glad to see you doing this again!
Best of luck to all 3 competitors.
