One run a day, low mileage, one speed and one long run, no
altitude training, one run in the mts/hills whenever that is.
Lots and lots of racing.

Huh? What?
There, fixed it for you, wasn't that to understand, was it?

The question is whether he's been drug tested, and the answer is yes. So why does it freaking matter how many races he runs and how much he's "in competition?"

NOPe, no one on here has EVER accused a white person or an East Asian of doping.
maybe if any white people ran even half-decent times people might say something. the world record is 2:03:23 and the US/europe have trouble even getting a single person to get 1 sub 2:10 a year...6:37 away from the record. That is a HUGE difference in time.
I'd say since the marathon revolution started several years ago (sub 2:06 becoming regular), I'd estimate that well over 90% of the sub 2:06 performers are from kenya or ethiopia. so it makes sense that they get the most skepticism about their performances. It's not because they are black, nothing to do with it.

Because the more he races the more he's "in competition" and the more he's likely to be drug tested and more likely has less time between races for out of competition doping. The more he's likely to be drug tested the more likely he is to be clean and it's more likely those who say he isn't will STFU. So that's why it freaking matters. Wasn't hard to understand, was it?

Gawd, sometimes you're thick...
Besides, do they even test for HGH? I don't think so.
they do have a test for it..not sure how successful it is
growth hormone use is widespread in sport
has to be used in conjunction with thyroid meds to get full benefit
I know there is a test for hgh, but do they actually test for it in running?
yes
why wouldn't they test when there's a test available for it duh!

That is actually true with then exception if the mainstream media tells us otherwise

Blood test, cost, specialist handling and lab?
I realize some will question the source/site but not a bad article on HGH testing by Matt Pitt who is a physician with degrees in biophysics and medicine.
http://www.sherdog.com/training/HGH-Testing-42387
"Is it right to subject hundreds, if not thousands, of fighters to the disadvantages of testing if only one in a hundred or one in a thousand cheaters will actually be caught?"
"The WADA test is, in effect, not an HGH test, but an I.Q. test -- catching only those who cannot figure out how simple it is to evade"
Same for runners?

Come on. Let's stop looking at these performances through rose colored glasses. There's only one way to do what Yuki is doing--EPO. The guy's dirty, plain and simple. How often has he been tested anyway? I'd love to know the answer. Although we know testing isn't enough because most if not all of the top runners are dirty.
For a board that seemingly prides itself on knowing when a runner is dirty, you guys are sure overlooking a big one here. Just like people who think Paula Radcliffe is a clean runner.
Don't get me wrong, I still have mad respect for Kawauchi. I don't really care about doping. But it's just funny to see people think a clearly dirty runner is clean. What's really frustrating about this, though, is that if Kawauchi were a Kenyan runner, there'd be droves of people here calling him a cheater. But because he's Japanese and works a full-time job, he gets a free pass?
Wake up folks, seriously.

If he were doping, he'd paying WAY more for the goods then he's making from running. Doesn't make sense.
