Maybe 5 hours. It's cold out and I'm well rested, and with the right fuel maybe 4:30 IF my knee holds out.

With a 12 + 14 km double today during my busiest week ever (100 km in 5 days) and with one litre of beer tonight, I guess I wouldn't run a marathon uninjured. I'd go for a 5:30 to 5:45 hours powerwalk.
I might be able to sneak under 4 hrs if all went well. It could also be a complete disaster. I have had some ankle issues. Temperature is pretty ideal in the low to mid 50s. I had a decent amount of sleep last night. Hopefully this imaginary course is well lit. I ran a 21:28 5k last weekend. I have only been running 15 to 20 mpw. I have been able to run half marathons in the 1:42 to 1:45 range off this mileage. If I had even two weeks to prepare and I could run two 15 milers that would help. The longest run I have done lately is 7 miles. If I took some walking breaks along the way that would help. My guess is that I would get to the halfway point around 145 to 150 and then would need to run walk the remainder in 12 minute pace. My best guess is either dnf or 430. I am just woefully unprepared.
2:40 or so. I ran 2:33 2 weeks ago, but have been taking it easy these last two weeks
~3:00 flat
Would this marathon happen to be on the track
I just ate a big dinner, so I don't think I could even finish.
2:45 +/- 3 minutes
I've already DNS'd 2 marathon in the last 2 months (injuries) so I'll call another DNS. I could probably run the first half and hobble the second half and end up in agony for the next week, but what for.
DNF, which was my time in a marathon two weeks ago which I tried to run despite not having run for two weeks before that with Achilles issues.
Hit the stop watch, wait 5 mins, start running for about 5 miles, have my wife drive ahead, she's pulls over to the side of the road, hands me a bike, ride until 1 mile before the finish line and run the rest of the way to a 2:55.

The rules:
1. You have five minutes from now to get ready.
2. You have as much access as you'd like to your preferred food/drink during the run.
3. No ipods.
4. Assume that you have instant access to the requisite clothing/footwear.
5. Assume you have to run in the weather conditions that exist outside your facility right now.
Looks like I missed the start. Next time, give me more than 5 minutes to get ready. What sort of race director are you?
I would die at 3 miles
I was out on my bike for three hours this morning, it's raining, and I'm eating lunch.I think i'm in 1h19m half marathon shape (if I was tapered and rested) and I ran a 16m43s 5km yesterday morning.I'd say 4h45m, and it would not be pretty.

I'm going to say 2:52, which would be a PR. I'm in some great shape, the dewpoint is around 30 right now, and I am fired up to run hard. 2:52. yeah.
6 hours. I ran the nyc 60k yesterday. very sore.
