Another vote for Teddie brand. I think it's only in stores in the Northeast - it's made in Boston area. Note actual spelling (I had to go look at a jar to be sure).
Publix brand is the best.
peanut butter from Virginia's southside peanut farms. Its way better than the stuff they sell south of the border.
It's certainly NOT one of these hippy, "natural" brands you're all talking about.
Those are basically a jar of peanut dust with some oil on top. Gross.
Skippy is delicious, I don't care what's in it.

I like Kirkland as well, but I have been eating Skippy since I gave up my Costco membership. I quess PB is all the same as long as it is natural. PB on a CR bagel is a good and cheap source of carbs, electrolytes and protein.
Yeah, all that natural food is crap, lets us all support big corps and the marketing industry which provide us jobs and support our reality TV shows by buying only processed foods. Remember to only buy inside the aisles. Not the outside where they have the produce.
Store brand PB tasted unbearable last time I tried it.

Correct answer
Adams chunky is my standby. I often do the self grind, although my wife isn't a fan of the consistency.
If you want some good sh*t from a jar, splurge on the Maranatha at Whole Foods or other health food stores
Somebody help me understand how a product that should really only have two ingredients can be made "reduced fat."

The pull out some amount of oil from the blend, and typically throw in some sugar/corn syrup/additive to re-up the flavor. I don't see any reason to purchase low-fat PB. If for some legitimate reason fat is that much of a problem in your diet (not just your mind), you shouldn't be eating PB in the first place.
Was not aware of the peanut butter/reality tv conspiracy. Thanks for opening my eyes to that one.

A few responses for peanut butter without salt.
I assume those were female replies because no heterosexual male would ever eat pb without salt.

Product Name:Skippy Peanut ButterManufacturer:SkippyIngredients:Roasted peanuts, sugar, hydrogenated vegetable oils (cottonseed, soybean, and rapeseed) to prevent separation, saltTotal Sugar:10.7%Salt:1.25%Price:$2.39 for 16.3-oz. jar (15 cents per oz.)Recommendation Status:RecommendedTesters’ Comments:
In a contest that hinged on texture, tasters thought this "smooth, "creamy" sample was "swell" and gave it top honors, both plain and baked into cookies. Its rave reviews even compensated for a slightly "weak" nut flavor that didn't come through as well as that of other brands in the pungent satay sauce.
Last place-
creamy section
Product Name:Smucker's Natural Peanut ButterManufacturer:Smucker'sIngredients:Peanuts, contains 1 percent or less of saltTotal Sugar:3.9%Salt:0.50%Price:$2.69 for 16-oz. jar (17 cents per oz.)Recommendation Status:Not RecommendedTesters’ Comments:
With its only additive a negligible amount of salt, the only truly natural peanut butter in the lineup elicited comments ranging from mild dissatisfaction ("needs enhancement with salt and sugar") to outright disgust ("slithery," "chalky," "inedible"). Cookies were "dry and crumbly" with a "hockey puck" texture, and the satay sauce was "stiff," "gritty," and "gloopy."
