Puma Faas 300s
Puma Faas 300s
Yes, I run in both. Though, I'm injury prone at all. The tempo is a real mild stability. That said, the boston is just as good as the tempo and completely neutral.
NOT* injury prone
Saucony Fast Twitch is a sweet little shoe. That would be good for tempos. Sayonara or Elixir from Mizuno would both be good (until you can't find the Elixir anymore).
I use the adios usually for tempo runs. I ,at times, use the Cadences for tempo runs as well. What's with the hate for the cadences by the way? They have kept me injury free.
Do you know the difference btwn a minimalist type shoe and a performance oriented shoe? A good performance shoe is meant to be responsive, give feedback. A minimalist shoe is meant to make your foot and lower legs do all (or most) of the work.
That's why the cadence is not a good tempo shoe. Not to mention is gimmicky, soft and poorly made.
That said, if you are an efficient enough runner it really doesn't matter what you wear. Bobby Curtis placed 2nd, behind Ben True at the 15k National Championships wearing the pure drift. Now that shoe is shit.
I like Saucony A5
