How is everyone watching this? The Eurosport feed is so bad it isn't watchable, it is showing me that the girls are 5 minutes into the 5k.

I arranged my morning around watching the W5000 final. Bummed.
They will air 3 minutes of the race on the NBC coverage this afternoon.

I think that we are all in the same boat.
BBC starting working for me that last 200m.
Well, what did you see? Defar FTW, I assume?!
Defar
12:50
Defar won
Huddle and Rowbury both in the 5th-7th range.
6 huddle 15:06
7 rowbury 15:07
The BBC worked fine for me the whole race.

Have to agree, compared this to the drama in the last k of the mens race, it was a complete bore.
Absolutely stunning that with all the dumb cr#$ on TV like cooking shoes and reality junk that we are all watching feeds that look like they are coming from an Apollo Lunar module.
Would be a lot more competitive if they let a half dozen athletes in from each of Kenya and Ethiopia. As uncompetitive as the Americans look in comparison, they actually are the best of the rest. That comment about the American record being "soft" kind of stung, by the way. I agree that Jenny could lower it, but she has no interest apparently.

If we could only have one **shole free thread- you wouldn't be on this one.
Great race and Huddle and Rowbury were top 8.

I like the shows about cooking shoes.
That women's 5,000 was just begging for some booing and catcalls. Watching women's distance races has always been like watching the grass grow, but that was beyond absurd.
I turned the T.V. off after 5 laps. I couldn't bear to watch them strut around the track like silly little trotting horses any longer, and I already knew the outcome.
I never thought I'd say this, having been an avid track fan for more than 40 years, but championship distance running on the track has become just too boring. I've lost all interest.
