Totally agree with the OP. Lets not give a prodigious talent the best environment and tools to be the best she can be.
Not everyone is equal and life isn't fair.

How come High school girls compete with that? So unfair - most just running on crappy track
Quit whining and just be thankful that we have a true American doing so well. I'd much rather have "Mary Cain" setting our American records than some displaced foreigner (read: naturalized citizen) named "Marylubu Cainkiptu" leading the charge back to U.S. middle distance dominance.

Methinks you must mean Nolan Ryan. And yes she cannot attain that until she turns 40.
I would so love to see someone charge the mound against her/
A Mary Cain noogie fest!
Effective troll. Yo got a number of posters going on this one.

The original poster is probably a senior who still cant break 2 minutes...and is a B or C student. And male.
yes she has an underwater treadmill in her home, her bedroom is simulated at an altitude of 6,000 feet and nike private jets fly her in to Bronxville once in a while so she can take classes.
I'm sure at this point Jim Mitchell understands and is happy for her.
Isn't this kind of the same arrangement that Rupp had in high school? Other than being on opposite sides of the country from AlSal.
well, it's all relative, here in the State of Illinois 90% of Class A (and probably Class AA) don't have a track, running facilities, coaches, etc etc....but on the other hand, big Schools like Elmhurst York, Sandburg, etc(Class AAA)....have all the perks and privileges smaller school will never have!....
BTY: Some of these big big high schools have nicer facilities than Colleges! Indoor tracks, workout rooms, asstiance to the assistance coaches...etc etc....just not fair!
So i guess this is a unfair advantage?....so Class AAA records should not count?
Wa Wa Wa!!!!!!!!!!1
She will have the best facilities on the planet if she picks Oregon next year. GO DUCKS
I've noticed that Mary Cain has really long legs compared to most other runners and that's a totally unfair advantage. We should break her legs to make sure she can't run faster than anyone else! Equality.

Marylubu Cainkiptu is going to very good by the time she hangs up her spikes. Don't sleep on her. I hope she does become a US citizen just like Sandra Richards and Kerron Clement did.
Do i detect a great fake road race name for the future?

Yes she will have unrivalled facilities to go with an unrivalled crappy academic program. The Miami U of the Northwest?

What complete failures
Gene Block
Lee Bollinger
Franklin Mieuli
Phil Knight
Robert Polet
Ken Kesey
Chuck Palahniuk
Ann Curry
Walter Houser Brattain
Joseph Takahashi
Pamela J. Bjorkman
The list goes on an on. How could any U of O graduate possibly hope to succeed at anything?

Or what...you thought she was heading to Middletown next week?
Ha ha- at our State Qual race someone commented how disappointing it was that Cain won't be in Middletown.
Watching her last year at CNS was unbelievable.
Actually it's not as good of a school as Miami...:-) Either way we are getting WAY ahead of ourselves here people. Keep in mind this isn't the first or last time a young girl ran fast...Melody Fairchild anyone? Girls can actually slow down as they develop so let's check back in a few years and see where she's at.

Yes, let's not do anything for our top talent. They should first be subjected to an average hs coach, then sent to college so they can be ridden like a rented mule so the coach gets his meaningless league title and a raise.
Exactly! Of course the original post from crazy brain whoever she is, is epically and monumentally stupid that it has attracted far more attention than its content and author
