Not sure what you're trying to pull, but most of the people claiming bad conditions are right.
My 11-year-old son was recovering from bronchitis and asked me to take him to the meet. Wife was against it and wanted him to rest up, but I said it'd be fine and definitely regretted it.
It was horridly muggy and after 50 or so mins he was overheating and coughing up a storm. And incidentally, I've lived down here for 6+ years, and he grew up here.
I'm all for the regional meets being held but even I don't think Austin is a good place for them. Not good for the runners. Not good for anyone who wants to go see the meet.
