Shippensburg d2 school in Pa, just won indoor NCAA DMR and losing top guy Matt Gillette could just slide into his place and let them have another 8:09 guy for next year! Young team could help provide some older insight to the team!
8:09 guys are always welcome at ship, just as long as they live the lifestyle.
You mean, like, down to shower as a group after runs?

Wow this has to be some kind of NCAA violation.
Tell him to hit up Steve Scott in San Diego. CSUSM, NAIA, good choice. I'm sure Steve would give him a listen.

It's time to set childish things aside. And open up an opportunity for a freshman.

Exactly.
He should start looking for work. Those are high schooler times when I was running. (1976)

The University of Whoville is not a bad choice it is at altitude and Coach Grinch can possibly help him develop and run times that he can only imagine!!!
Clown College is not bad either but they don't tend to take training very seriously. With that being said I would look into Whoville!!!
Both are good schools but I would agree Coach Grinch does tend to take an emphasis on the development of runners at an institution that is at altitude which will help you develop more quickly. This is a picture of Coach Grinch discussing the fundamentals of development when he was recruting Jordan Hassay to The University of Whoville when she was a high school senior.http://images.search.yahoo.com/images/view;_ylt=A2KJkIf3j2BRnGAAZ1aJzbkF;_ylu=X3oDMTBlMTQ4cGxyBHNlYwNzcgRzbGsDaW1n?back=http%3A%2F%2Fimages.search.yahoo.com%2Fsearch%2Fimages%3Fp%3DThe%2BGrinch%26fr%3Dyfp-t-900%26fr2%3Dpiv-web%26tab%3Dorganic%26ri%3D140&w=1024&h=680&imgurl=images5.fanpop.com%2Fimage%2Fphotos%2F30800000%2FThe-Grinch-how-the-grinch-stole-christmas-30805475-1024-680.jpg&rurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.fanpop.com%2Fclubs%2Fhow-the-grinch-stole-christmas%2Fimages%2F30805475%2Ftitle%2Fgrinch-photo&size=154.4+KB&name=%3Cb%3EThe+Grinch+%3C%2Fb%3E-+How+%3Cb%3EThe+Grinch+%3C%2Fb%3EStole+Christmas+Photo+%2830805475%29+-+Fanpop+...&p=The+Grinch&oid=819d7b0e73af0b429d9df1e84bfc3db6&fr2=piv-web&fr=yfp-t-900&tt=%253Cb%253EThe%2BGrinch%2B%253C%252Fb%253E-%2BHow%2B%253Cb%253EThe%2BGrinch%2B%253C%252Fb%253EStole%2BChristmas%2BPhoto%2B%252830805475%2529%2B-%2BFanpop%2B...&b=121&ni=152&no=140&ts=&tab=organic&sigr=12td5enis&sigb=135ja68i9&sigi=138kfi8ss&.crumb=ypLFd9gU.D3&fr=yfp-t-900

Any idea if this guy is trying to stay D1 or maybe make a move to D2?
Try UALR, I hear they will give anyone who can almost break 5 in the mile a full ride, men or women's side!
Did anyone find out where he was going?
