He certainly looks to be the real deal in the future. His stride looks effortless; the kid has next level talent. Let's hope he gets there.

I'm embarrassed to say Jeramy Elkaim was not on my radar at Oregon. He is now.
There are some young runners for the Ducks who will do very well over he next 2-3 years. May take one more year.

Freshman - did not run
Sophomore - 4:32 and 9:53 indoor; 4:19 and 9:07 outdoor
Junior - 4:17 and 9:00 indoor; 4:12 and 8:46 outdoor (with a lost 800 of 2:05 and a last 400 of 61, not 58)
Senior - 4:18 and 9:26 indoor; 4:14 and 9:05 outdoor (was hurt during indoor season)
You have to keep in mind that Livingston had a monster DMR during Elkaim's senior year. They ran 10:23 early on indoors in a nation leading time and then ran 10:16 later on and they were lacking in the 400 and 800 big time. I think 52.5 and 2:02 were the fastest splits they got out of those legs. Jeramy ran 4:10-4:12 multiple times anchoring throughout the year[/quote]
I was there and kept splits. Closed in 4:14 1600, 2:02 last 800 and a 59.x last 400. Awesome race to watch
