If it looked painful watching her run, it is probably because it is painful for her.

Painful for all the girls. Just one person's opinion as I noted.
some runners just have bad form, zatopek, radcliffe for example extremely successful though, dagostino will be pretty good, probably not like the examples i gave, make some USA teams, get A standards regularly.
What are you talking about? I'm a Jordan fan too, but D'Agostino has great form.
She has a form very similar to Shalane Flanagan and is very efficient with a powerful stride. The only fixable thing is a slight limp wrist.
Jordan is also a great runner and runs relaxed, but the side to side movement of her arms isn't nearly as fluid as Abbey.
Can u pedophiles get over the Jordan Hasay obsession? She is no longer in HS.

Agreed.

And "dropped like a fly"? Makes no freaking sense.
"Left behind like she was standing still," that about describes it accurately.
Nice time for her. What cracked me up, was that she came back later to run in a heat of the 4x400m. She's such a kid who loves the sport.
No idea where she will land as a pro. Hope it is the perfect situation for her. And, hope she cuts the hair and goes back to the shorter/braid look. Nobody looks good sporting their high school style forever! Evolve!
Again, you are here, starting off with your usual aggressive and childish tone. Grow up. You are on the level of grammar nazies.
As a previous commenter in this post said, you make people dislike Oregon and their runners.
You have yet to post a good comment showing any kind of knowledge about running. You are like the average crazy football fan, defending your heros with anger and stupidity without actually having any in depth knowledge about the sport.
I have to agree with one of the first posters, D'Agostino's form is definitely off. It's hard to explain. Anyway, it's going to be a great indoor national final in Fayettville!!!!!
I agree. When Jordan goes pro if she goes with Salazar, he will get her stronger, and work on the speed. She has already run 4.10 in the 1500 meters. I could she here running a 4.04 or 4.05. Look how much faster Rupp has got.
I agree that Jordan looked stronger, despite the final result. I think she will be the eventual winner at nationals. Abbey looks a bit too frail, IMO.
According to the Dartmouth track and field Web site, D'Agostino's 8:55.41 broke her own school record by almost seven seconds. She's nearly 20 seconds faster than the next-best performer in that event, which is like the blink of an eye compared to her 53-second margin on the next-fastest 5,000-meter runner. And she's only a junior, barely halfway done with her track career.
Assuming she has good results in the 5k, there's a chance she won't even run the 3k. She probably will though since the 5k is first. Hard to say which event would give her a better shot at winning. Saina will be tough to beat in the 5k. We also have yet to see Katie Flood run, who will also be tough competition if she isn't redshirting.
Watching the race, I agree with noricmama. Abbey looked very thin and frail. But there were a couple of other girls who looked worse off. You know who we're talking about here. What a shame.
