Alberto said this in an interview he knew was going to be published in a prominent place and it makes them look clean. It's something I could see a dirty coach saying. But it's also something I could see a clean coach saying sincerely.
When dealing with doping speculation, I think we should all default to giving everyone the benefit of the doubt until something happens to take that doubt away. I think this because the alternative is being suspicious of everyone at all times. When you go down that road it usually ends up in one of two places: 1)disillusionment to the point of not being interested in running anymore and 2)acceptance to the point of thinking that doping isn't such a bad thing and should be allowed.
Again, I know Alberto...and I can tell you his program is clean.
What is so laughable to me, he has always been straight laced, and after his religious rebirth that trebled.
He wears his heart on his sleeve, he doesn't bs or lie...and frankly, as he as admitted, and I have experienced, he is a nicer guy post religious rebirth.
Anyone who knows the guy, who has known him a long time, thinks you conspiracy people and makers of false accusations -- are just crazy.
He doesn't live in a world of reading these kinds of internet message boards -- and you all know -- that this is just low standard board...with running as the topic...the internet has had these wild west low class boards for a long time.
He doesn't play idiot on the internet like so many of you -- which is why he has termed you "message board rats."
Cos you are, low class.
