This whole thread was an attempt to keep drug cheats away. The Big Sur Half Marathon committee knew nothing about it. They never intended to drug test. Out of 27 elites entered 10 days before the race - 6 did not show up. Could be a number of reasons that they didn't show up and that might be below or above average % of elite no-shows but we think every race should say they are going to drug test - to keep the drug cheats away. Let's keep our races clean.
