We didn't run two if those events. We were a very progressives school and ran the 1 Mile and 2 Mile. I feel sorry for the rest of you.

I think the boys' records were something like 9:48/4:26/1:56.
I know the girls' 3200 record was 10:06 and I know a kicker on our football team made a 67-yard field goal last night.
800- 1:56
1600- 4:21
3200- 9:36
4x800- 8:08
So pretty solid records I think
1:54
4:07
8:52
My bet is the 1600 and 3200 records are sticking around for a while.
800 - 1:53
1600- 4:15
3000- 8:28
3200- 9:07
A few may go down this year
1:58
4:24
9:30
I'd say, and while that by itself is believable, I call bs on the number of sub 9 and esp sub 850 times claimed here. I think my state record is still 90x, and it a fairly good fairly populous state.
Don't forget that there's a sort of bias in a thread like this as people whose schools had great records are more likely to remember them/want to brag about them. I'm sure there would be a slightly more normal distribution if every single Letsrunner looked it up.
Anyway, I'm about to somewhat disprove my own point because my school's records aren't quite as impressive (in a school of 3000 no less).
800- 1:54
1600- 4:17 (that one's been around since the mid-80s)
3200- 9:44
4 x 800- 7:58

Exactly my thoughts. I think something like 7 state records fell at Arcadia last year and only 2 were sub 8:50, and those just barely. And how many high schools are in each of those states? Either bs or some serious selection bias here.
1:52.xx
4:23.xx
9:12.xx
The mile is weak compared to the others.
9:07
4:14
1:53
3k steeple is 9:07, I believe.
1:53
4:15
9:26
I'm wondering about the number of people claiming 3200 records under 9:00 here.
I only know the 1600 and 3200
Girls:
1600: 5:11
3200: 10:56
Boys:
1600: 4:31
3200: 10:01
1:54.30 - 1984
4:11.96 - 1974
8:58.96 - 1978
1600 and 3200 times were converted. My high school's program was quite good back in the 70s/80s. The guy who holds the 3200 record still runs to this day, and pretty quickly too (15:34 for 5k at 52 I think).

Converted from the mile and two mile I mean.
800: 1:51.1 (1981)
1600: 4:20.28 (2004)
3200: 9:43.64 (2004)
Our distance records aren't that great, but that said, I'll bet our 100, 200, 400 records are as a whole better than any school in the nation. (10.0HT, 20.5, 45.17)
3200: 9:37
1600: 4:20
800: 1:53
All held by different people.
not that great? oh I forgot, cuz EVERYONE on the boards here is at least 1:51/4:20 guy.

Some of you might know the name of the 16 and 32 record holder.
He still races occasionally.
800 - 1:50.7
1600 - 4:09
3200 - 8:52
all in the last 3 years, 16/32 was one guy
