thanks, I'll give them a try. I used to wear the Equinox back in the day.

I actually have a pair of Kinvaras, and fin d them very light with not a whole lot of support. I actually wore them for a xc race two weekends ago. But I don't think I'd want them for my long runs on the roads.

I'd go with Arrested Development - really funny show.
nothing sturdy about the 1400.
I am an expert in narrow shoes - if you want sturdy and narrow, I would go with Adidas - the Boston would be good. The Tempo 5 is a little lighter.
But depends what you mean by sturdy.
Well if you think Arrested Development is a funny show then I can see how you think the 1400 is not sturdy enough for you. I can tell you like stiffness and structure. Similar to your personality? Not trying to be mean, just an observation.
To the OP, why would you ONLY rate my post "mildly amusing?" After all, when I first read your desperate post, I was trying to help you out in a honest way and yet at the same thought I figured you made an error in your initial spelling of "shoe versus show" but instead, I am degraded as not being a "Cool LetsRun" poster. My feelings are hurt you know.

dude, the 1400 is a racing shoe. I have a pair. I love their lightness, squishy midsole and flexibility. But, alas, they are not sturdy.
Good call on my personality tho - I am pretty stiff and structured.
