Hey man those are some pretty badass results - congrats. The pushups are hilarious. Glad to see you're still rolling.

Dude, you should put Wheeling on your calendar for next year.
You could run that downhill mile in about 3:40 friday night and then crush that HILLY half marathon (used to be 20k)the next morning!!
I have to second this
(WHEELING!!!)
nice job! glad RnR paid off. sweet double.
btw, for some reason when I saw your winning RnR pic, I envisioned MTV's Butthead and some quote like "with guns like these, I command ye to open"
More people need Hesch's type of mentality. You may call him a d-bag, but the guy is lighthearted and adds color to a typically boring sport. Our sport is looked at as lowly runners who focus on the same thing day in and day out. This guy goes out, runs fast, and has a good time doing it. It helps him supplement the bills and it seems like it is something that he truly enjoys. Many professional runners hate their careers. More power to the guy and congrats on a great double.

I'm honored you thought I was Christian Hesch
Hesch, do you still work as a paramedic as well? well done on the double!
Don't post on these forums anymore.
Great job on the double!
Christian Hesch is clearly the one who started this thread.
C-list runners hyping themselves is getting lame. This is almost as bad as all the Ben True threads we used to have.
Let the race results speak for themselves.
I've always been a Hesch fan and respect the guy for making a living doing what he loves (running and winning).
Gotta love the haters who blast him for racing "too much" and being a little different from the nerd pros.
Props to the dude. Keep on living the dream!
It's not a bad question. You would think Hesch and Co would make more money in appearance fees or get into more road races if he competed in a few Olympic Trials so this dude might have a point about lack of testing at these lowkey make some quick money road races.

Did they have drug testing at either of these races?
For all the d*p-sh*ts trying to make themselves feel good? by trying to drag my son down(ain't gonna work anyhow). JC's been racing since he was 14, first as a world-class tri-athlete, then as a professional runner. He's qualified for several Olympic trials but, unfortunately has wound up injured prior to each one. The only "doping" that he has ever done, was to live in a tent at 8,000' during a summer, coming down to train and race. He has a natural, God-given talent that he has developed well through hard work and determination. Understandably, that makes some jealous...
Crazy, you admitted that he doped with an altitude tent!!!!! Doper, return your money, fool!
runners who have no personality & who "let the races speak for themselves" are boring and part of the reason why nobody is interested in the sport. give me Yusuf Kamel throwing gang signs as he crosses the finish line, or Kemboi doing his post-steeple victory dance over the boring "aw shucks, I won the race" runners any day. also, I'd love to know if you could do 4 flat and come back with a half win the next day? i know i can't, but i'm sure it be nothing for you since a "C-lister" can do it:)nice job Hesch!

Gowl- Are you the guy that runs about 34 minutes for 10k and only dreams of beating Hesch? I have always wondered who are the guys calling good runners Dbags on let's run. Maybe Dateline can go under cover exposing jealous want to be runners that never were.
the pushups were pretty dorky, but i am impressed. He doesn't look like he'd be that fast...
People must be serious, why would you ask if there was drug testing? He run a 67 which is slow and reasonable after a mile run. can we not just try to be negative about everything others do. you have the right to say what you want but sometimes leave ur shit in the toilet.

oh boy, gonna have to talk to pops about the dangers of posting on here, haha! pretty sure that's his first ever post, welcome to the fray pops! :)
When I improve from 66min to 61 in the span of a year like one of my old teammates, then i guess the question is reasonable....but i suppose its reasonable to anyone, esp when a cat3 cyclist is doing it....sheesh!
....but don't even get me started on the Makloufi.........
cheers, dude~
nice work randomdude. i'll always remember you for autographing teenager girls boobs and wearing sunglasses at night.
