You don't get a chance to pronate in a forefoot strike. I pronate significantky when walking with a heel strike but not a trace when running forefoot. They are rather thin to heel strike in.

On a side note, looking at the wear on your Piranhas, there is something SERIOUSLY wrong with your running gait. For a good forefoot runner the wear should be in the center of the forefoot. On your shoe the center was untouched by the outside edge was tore up. You seem to have some of the worst supination imaginable. I wouldn't blame the shoe for falling apart given how you run.

I would watch out for the 730's though. I had a pair that I really liked, but developed ankle problems from them. Since the sole on the outside of the shoe extends past the liner a little bit, it cause me to pronate much more forcefully and quicker, resulting in a pull on the tendons above my ankle on the outside.
