I have to agree that Bumbi's injury problems are interesting. He was relatively low mileage at G Town I believe. Now it seems like he is thriving under Schumacher under lots of quality mileage! Oh how aerobic development benefits a runner.

Bumbalough will rule the roost!

He surely has exhibited that he has the speed for a fast 5000, but I think the years of never getting a full year of consistent training has always hurt him from hitting his optimal performance. Assuming he continues along, injury free, with his current training, I would put him right up there with the big boys, with a more than capable kick at the end to punch his ticket.
He has to make it through the next half year, though.
I guess I don't really get the idea that he was more fragile than they next guy while in college. XC AA '07, '08, '09. Made nats in track indoor '08, '09, and outdoors '06, '07, '08, and '10.
He had Achilles issues Winter '06-'07 and Fall/early Winter '08, but hasn't had a big injury sense. Mono was the culprit indoor/early outdoor 2010.

What are Moran's PRs?

13:20 and 27:40 maybe. Solid PRs, but those probably won't cut it these days...
It'll probably put him in the hunt. I doubt it'll go out fast, especially if Solinsky doesn't run. He just ran a marathon, right? Is he shooting for the 10000?
