I have an answer to this conundrum: Mo Farah runs 130 mpw.

Post of the day!

the article is vague, it says 130 at one point and 25 miles a day plus a long run on sundays at another
No.
It states that Farah's week has 130 miles. That is what it states.
Ian Stewart talks about 25 miles a day and a long on sundays when reminiscing about his training with Bedford, or, what one can here if they so desire.
Read more slowly.

We are all runners and know how we talk about it. I'm guessing Mo averages around 130 while there, sometimes peaks at 170, and averages about 25 miles a day however he also probably has lower mileage days as well bringing the total average down around the 130-140 area.
That's a lotta guessin' based on things you misread in the article about what Stewart might have used to do.
The article states 130 when in kenya. Salazar has been quoted as saying around 120 last year I believe.

I think this should read as "up to 25mi per day in doubles and a long run on Sunday".
Let's assume the daily average is 18mi....1h in the morning and a track workout in the PM or vice versa. Then 20mi continuous run on the weekend.
128 miles.
Again, you are basing the 25 mi's a day off of stewart's comments about his own training, not Farah's. And the rest you are just making up.
The article states 130.
Was I the only one to read the article?

I read that as he runs 130 miles the rest of the week, besides the 24 mile easy run he does on Sunday. The puts him just over 150mpw.
"Sunday is a rest day," Mo Farah says. If you can count a 24-mile morning run through the steep, red, dusty trails as restful, that is. With no afternoon run planned, and the rest of his week's 130 miles of training
"his week's 130 miles" means 130 miles for a week. 130-24 is what he runs the first 6 days. But it still adds up to 130.
"Journalists who dont know anything about the sport should not write about it."
- Yes. Please. I'd love to make the sport even more obscure than it already is.

Indeed, I’ve read he snorts lines off your moms fat saggy arse whilst your dad tea bags Mo. Are you proud of your dad, tea-bagging?

Please amend your comments, kind poster.
Mom's arse may be fat, but never saggy.
