NB 1400 right now, but I think it'll turn into the NB 890 v2 when I can get a pair. That'll turn the 1400 into a speed work and racing shoe.

How does the first Skyspeed (what I'm in now) compare? I like them. I know the asymmetrical lacing is a little weird but are the Skyspeed 2 different? The "1" is only $50 on running warehouse and I'm tempted to buy third pair.

I read on the lrc boards that the skyspeed 1 and 2 are the same shoe - just different color. Second hand info.
Karhu Fast 2
Puma FAAS and Nike Frees
Brooks Adrenaline – Training except faster stuff
Brooks Ravenna – Tempos
Love the Nike Skylon, since they stopped making that I've stopped buying their shoes, trying to squeeze out every last mile I can out of remaining pairs.
The Pearl Izumi Streak II seems to be the current heir to the throne, along with the New Balance MT110 and the New Balance 1600 when it comes out.
Gonna reconsider my lack of Nikes when the LunarLite comes out (9ish ounce marathon flat) and the Lunarspider3s will replace my Nike Katanas for racing.
Lunarlite sounds like a cool shoe... Just curious, as you can see from my handle I am a fan of the old spantriax (circa 2001), as a skylon lover do you also like the old spans?
Kinvaras. There is no substitute.
Nike Lunar Spider LT and Lunar Racer.
Looking forward to the return of the Zoom Elite.
Nike Rayong I sandals. 70-80 mpw.

I just got my first pair of Kinvara last week and am really enjoying them.
My everyday shoe is the Nike Pegasus. I like the Brooks Ghost too, it has a little better road feel than the dead feeling Pegasus.
I need the dead feeling most of the time though, because I'm basically a shitty slow runner.

When the span was around, I was just getting into running and still buying my shoes at a big box retailer. So I wasn't really around for the Span and don't really know much about them.
Brooks Adrenalins for most EZ runs
Nike Streak Xc 3's and Asic Hyperspeeds for Harder stuff
FAAS 400
Brooks ghost 3 and 4
Adidas Tempo.
Fast, light, and just a hint of stability. Biggest complaint? They are the squeakiest shoe I've ever owned. Not going to sneak on anybody for sure.
I always found the adizero tempo to be too firm, like almost rock hard and just painful for anything over a 40 minute run.
