nice to see Joanna Zeiger get a qualifier!

Clint Verran made it in as well. 2:18:56. I think this will be his 4th trials.
It will be clints 4th trials, he took it to the house sunday and I think he has a shot at qualifying for the olympics!
2'36 Pilcher, Brian,55, WOW WOW WOW!!! WHAT A JOB!!
Also, The women's winner, Serkalem Biset Abrha now runs for USA, so that makes 26 qualifiers for the women and 8 for the men? Could that be an all time record for any single marathon?

New Mexico baby! After flirting with a qualifier for a while Armijo gets it done. He might be our lone qualifier on the men's side in Houston.
I think there are also Allen Wagner and Mbarak Hussein.
That's a very impressive number! What makes this marathon such a great place to run these times? What is the course like and what were the conditions?
I have never ran it but it looks like it is point to point with a net drop of about 345 feet, and no major hills.

Way to go Mal!!!
South Minneapolis and St Olaf love ya!
Way excited for Jesse Armijo - if there is a more humble hard working guy out there I have yet to meet him. There is some serious representation from Heart & Sole Sports in ABQ!
I was out there spectating. Sunday's conditions were perfect for racing. It was cool, dry and still.

This just illustrates how rediculously stupid the womens OT qualifyer is.
Which is tougher 1:15 for a woman or 1:05 for a man? Or are those comparable?

rolling the first half, you're either going up or down, I personally don't like it. the second half is better and somewhat flat.

conditions were good but not perfect, it 36-38 at the start, and it got only a few degrees warmer. sunny and no wind though.

I ran the race. It was colder than 36 at the start. I read it was 28 in a article but my car said 34. It could have been a tad bit warmer but conditions were near perfect.
A note about Sarah Graves:
126 Graves, Sarah 255 F 34 F30-34 3/392 16/2478 Ballantine MT 2:44:25 6:17 2:44:23 36:36 1:22:11 2:05:35
This is her second marathon in 2 weeks. She just missed the qualification standard 4 or 5 times in the last two years. Great to see her make it!
An even bigger PR is probably Mario Macia's 2:15/16. Macias hails from Delano, down here in the central valley, and was a heavy competitor against Cabada and JJ Duke back in the day. I think Macias ran a 28:30? back around 2005. Way to go Mario. COS CC.

Ridiculously and qualifier, I am sure the time will go down once there are enough fast women to compare to the men. sub 246 is still good and I doubt you could run that fast, you cant even spell
