now he's running 2:06 low? am i the only one that finds that kind of jump, without a big change in training (e.g., he still trains in louisville at sea level?) to be a little bit fishy?
Here is the way it is:
Our African imports do what they need to do to get what they want to get. Big revelation there, no?
While in school, they run enough to be good to great NCAA runners to get what they want which is to get/keep their scholarships. Training dedication required = 20%.
When they get out of school the only thing that will get them what they want ($) is world class performances. Oops, time to take training a bit more seriously.
Now, was that really all that hard?
