1) Unless you think her focus has been on running the Lisbon Half Marathon, this was not a peak race
2) She has repeatedly shown herself to be a contender and is probably >50% to make the London team.

C'mon guys, let's put it in perspective.
If you're training for a marathon, how fast do you race your tuneup half a month out?
I'll bet Desi's 2nd half at the trials is between 1:11:30 & 1:12:30. She'll be under 2:26.
To you people who say Boston is so easy because it's downhill, please where a shirt exclaiming this so I know who you are and can kick you in the knee.
Since her half was about 3 months ago and she's had more training, I'm sure she has improved.
As for how fast one races a tuneup half a month out, I doubt they are racing to their full potential (especially during marathon buildup) and on tired legs--meaning they are racing w/o a taper.
I see Desi doing better than 2:26 come next month, if all things lined up well i.e. weather, etc.
Davila will win the trials by over 2 minutes, guaranteed.
When was the last time Davila did NOT PR at a marathon. It seams she's just been on a steady trajectory for PRs every time she laces up.
