In an interview, LV showed the spikes he used to break the sub 4 mile, they were adidas. In all the other races he ran this year he wore those black and orange victories. I can't imagine that LV would choose the adidas ones over the victories if he was given a choice.
K-Swiss! Good one.
No, Lukas wasn't given a choice...
None of the kids were.
You think these kids are rocket scientists? You think they would think it through that in 5 years they might be pro's and NOT want pictures of them in Adidas out there?
LV is likely to run in Nike at Oregon. In 5 years when he will surely be a pro...because of his Oregon connection, Nike will likely outbid everyone to sign him.
Adidas knows this, so they forced all the kids to have their last high profile photo's taken in Adidas.
And yeah, duh, most high school kids would go crazy scarfing up the free gear that Adidas put them in a room full of.
YOU THINK ADIDAS DID NOT KNOW THAT? It's like putting weight event guys in front of a free food.
It made all those kids look like pro's sponsored by Adidas. And I just wonder if it was something that could have challenged NCAA eligibility rules.
These event sponsors should agnostic about what high school kids wear.
