What a troll. He let surges that were detrimental go ahead (e.g., 4:23) and caught them when they eased, with less work. When they ran 28:25 pace for 10km it was simply beyond is capabilities (and yours). Sure, he could have kept up for a couple hundred meters but then crashed. He knows what he is doing but you are either clueless or a troll.
