Read much? I made 6 points. Only one was about the way they look. I don't care at all about fashion.
And most of the people who "like" them use the "look at all the fast guys who wear them" argument. Not a good argument. They don't make you faster.
People can like them all they want. I was expressing my thoughts, not trying to win a debate.
I've run 4:08, 14:43, 30:47. Didn't wear arm warmers for any of those races.
none of your arguments are reasons not to wear them. calling them an unnecessary waste of money or saying pros wear them because they are paid to is not an argument to not wear them yourself.
They are much more adjustable than a long sleeve shirt.
They are easier to take off than a long sleeve shirt.
They do not restrict your shoulders like a long sleeve shirt.
They require you to own fewer long sleeve shirts.
My arms are frequently colder than my core so it makes more sense to add a layer only to my arms.
The back of my forearms freeze if it's cold enough even if I have a long sleeve shirt on.
They cost like $6 so they're a lot cheaper than long sleeve shirts.
Its very uncomfortable to wear clothes under a singlet
These are my reasons for wearing arm warmers. You have not proposed any reasons not to.
PS way to cite your PRs as a source of expertise like a typical letsrun douche.
