I wonder sometimes and like to think there is no cheating in our distance programs, but someone has to be I would think?....

That is the last one.
And just because you test positive doesn't mean you did PED's either. You do a couple million tests and you are going to get lab mistakes, false positives and so on.

PED tests have a 95% false negative result given the suite of tests given do not test for all PED substances. Thus, just because a person does not test positive does not mean they are clean of PEDs.

Just so you know, we aren't referring to Eddy Lee.
There is no such thing as an elite white American distance runner. Thats a myth, like bigfoot.

Silly Old Fossi,,,,,,As amazing as some Masters runners are....they are not Elite in my book.....well, I guess American women are but not American men...
Let's see. Eddy as a Master.
1. 2001 World Champs Marathon
2. 1st American @ 2003 Boston Marathon
3. 2003 US marathon champ
4. 8th 2004 US Olympic trials
5. $100,000 plus in career earnings (not including sponsorships).
Nobody can spell his name but I'll give it a stab: Eddy Hellebuyck
Here's the info:

What percent of statistics are made up on the spot?
I don't know about that, but I do know that 5/4 of people are bad at fractions.
Wasn't Eddy H a sub 2:12 marathoner in is day (2:11:50 PR)? That's elite, unless you say that anyone over 2:10 is a hobby jogger.

So basically every runner coached by Teddy Mitchell has tested positive for EPO?
Mary Slaney in 1996. Not the most recent, but probably the most significant.
36.9%

so, i would rather know who was the most recent american born male distance runner (1500 meters and above) to get busted for p.e.d.s...
...and race, color, creed shouldn't factor into it.
But this thread is not about the "probability" of white Americans using drugs, it specified failing drug tests.
So I just ask how many black Africans have failed tests in comparison?
When was the last time white (elite) American distance runner (male or female) won anything of consequence at the Olympic Games or World Championships? I'm sure you'll come up with one if you dig, so why don't you just let me know all this century (i.e. 2000 onwards).
When is last time a black (elite) Amrican distance runner (male of female) failed a drug test?
I've left in your sp's. Can't believe this shit has made the front page
rowbury bronze, flanagan bronze, Ritz (jr XC and half marathon champs), K. Goucher bronze, Kastor bronze
That's not too bad, really, although I would understand a quibble with Ritz
The temptation or NEED isn't there for our guys "Because the rest of the world has to shoot for the best in the world to make good money and Americans only have to be the best American", said a pretty well-respected coach to me just last year.
