Nice video. Sorry the whiners can't enjoy it.
I think they're training at La Loma in San Luis Potosi.

Its Silva's training place and very nice.
Cook hates to travel and wouldn't go if it wasn't good. They been using it for years now and have a nice track record.

It's easy to sum it up if you're just talking about practice. We're sitting here, and I'm supposed to be the franchise player, and we're talking about practice. I mean listen, we're sitting here talking about practice, not a game, not a game, not a game, but we're talking about practice. Not the game that I go out there and die for and play every game last it's my last but we're talking about practice man. How silly is that?
Now I know that I'm supposed to lead by example and all that but I'm not shoving that aside like it don't mean anything. I know it's important, I honestly do but we're talking about practice. We're talking about practice man. We're talking about practice. We're talking about practice. We're not talking about the game. We're talking about practice. When you come to the arena, and you see me play, you've seen me play right, you've seen me give everything I've got, but we're talking about practice right now.
Hey I hear you, it's funny to me to, hey it's strange to me too but we're talking about practice man, we're not even talking about the game, when it actually matters, we're talking about practice.
Seriously, A Webb imposter. You are not even remotely witty or funny.
So what are the racing plans for these athletes? Does anyone know?
I dont think you got the joke. That is what Allen Iverson said a few ago at a press conference when asked about him skipping practice.
The joke is funny in its original context. It comes out pretty lame when you try to force it to cross-over and apply here. Especially when workouts and 'practice' are a popular discussion topic here on a regular basis. But hey, don't let any of that stop you from beating a dead horse into the ground.
Oh. Did Alan Webb skip practice?
Great, thanks for the video. Shannon looking at American Records and taking notes as she say, hmmmmm! Trienere Clement got married any know the guy and if he's an athlete? Hopefully Trienere and Shannon can join the sub 4 minute 1500m list in 2010!
Treniere married Paul Moser...he was a decent 400-800m runner at Villanova. I believe he ran aroun 1:48
where's shalane flanagan and erin donahue? Oh, the horny ol' goat chased 'em out, you say?
I missed the American record clip the first time around. Thought the video was over as the text appeared at the end of the video
Rowbury is looking at all American records between 800 and 5k. That's quite a range. Wonder which ones she wants to go after?
Good luck to her and all of the Team Cook athletes.
The LR interview with Cook made me a big fan of his. The accent, the cussing. Gotta be fun times.

Hhmm, I was noticing the same thing.

She was looking at all the American records from 800 to 10k! AND all distance relays!
Big-time dreams for a big-timer runner.
It was on her iPhone, and yes, there's an app for that...

Toluca is also a great place to train at altitude in Mexico. The state of Aguascalientes in central Mexico is also a very good place in terms of the stability of the area and the reputation of the state for being one of Mexico's most modern, most organized, and one of the most wealthiest. They have great facilities, but the altitude is not as high as Toluca.
Toluca is the capital of the state of mexico and it's roughly 8,700 feet while the state of aguascalientes averages elevations of about 6,100 feet. I've been to Aguascalientes and it is a small little state with very modern infrastructure, nice roads, clean, and a very good overall atmosphere.
