Wow, that wasn't there just two weeks ago when I searched the site for them.
I'm still bummed that they discontinued the 5.0 cross-trainer - that was a great shoe.

You can transition to the 5.0s pretty quickly so long as you're willing to reduce your weekly mileage for the first few weeks. If you think you can do it without reducing mileage, then you're begging for an injury. Also, the added flexibility takes some getting used to and you may want to be hesitant to do much speedwork or trail running in one right away.
i transitioned to the 3.0 instantly. Did not have even the slightest problem, other than the first run feeling kind of strange.
Ran in 3.0 for a while, put over 700 miles on one pair and they are still OK - Don't use them much any more I think the instep is far to high to be considered minimalist.Adidas Adizero Pro are better.

Question for you guys, how long did it take to adjust to running in the free's?
It didn't take me any time really, but I was coming from the Mizuno Wave precision, which is a pretty light neutral trainer. I mixed the two (every other day) for a few weeks, realized it wasn't necessary, and then wore the 5.0 every day. I think it depends on you. Experiment, but be cautious.
