I think it's a pretty impressive performance for a guy with his background, and so early on in the season. Also, think about it - there were only eight guys who ran under 13:54 outdoors last year (17 indoors this past season), so that is rare company he is keeping, nevermind the fact that how many would be able to run a 30min 10k casually after setting a seasons' best or PR? I see it as being unreal, or at the least very impressive, for a lot of reasons, the main one being only a few collegians would be able to do that (15 maybe?).
