essentially, libel is written and slander is verbal. this qualifies for neither.
If the article was WRITTEN, how does this not qualify as libel? You sound retarded.

The irony is awesome.
In middle-aged monarchies, or totalian dictatorships, or maybe Nazi Germany or something, yes, this would be illegal. But we have a good amount of freedom of speech here.

I have no idea why but I just laughed my ass off at that.
Lolz! that was indeed pretty funny. But yes this article proves even more why Obama is driving this country into the ground and telling people how they should spend their money. If Nike wants to buy AlterGs then they should be able to.
This article shows how little Obama knows about a)running and b)building a grassroots business. Let's go back about 35 years or so to the University of Oregon. Remember Blue Ribbon Sports? Young Phil Knight and Bill Bowerman? O that's right they developed a product and a logo that grew into a multi-million dollar business...from the grassroots level, the blue collar level. How is this different than Brooks Hansons? It's not, Nike is just decades ahead of them. And to correct all of you "know it alls" the Nike Oregon Project has been going on for longer than Brooks Hansons. The Nike Oregon Project was developed in 2001 in conjunction with the previously existing Nike Farm Team which dates back into the 90s.
Let's look at the logic of Obama's statements as well. He gets upset about Nike spending $75,000 for buying AlterGs but it's ok to wastefully spend millions of tax payer dollars to fund bailouts at AIG, GoldmanSachs, etc. Let me get straight to the point Obama is telling firms, businesses, tax payers, and other entities how they should spend their money. This is a capitalistic society that is moving in the direction of market socialism. There has been zero accountability in passing legislation related to financial and economic stewardship over the past year and half. Fiscal responsibility is non-existent. Obama has no place to tell firms like Nike how they should or shouldn't spend their money. Let's break down the recent healthcare bill shall we? Capital Gains tax increases by 3%, Federal, State, and Income taxes increase to 43 points, the US ranks 4th in the world regarding taxation for the top 2%-5% tax bracket, approximately 46% of doctors have stated that they are considering leaving the practice or will be leaving their practices in the US, although the market increased a few points due to investing into healthcare firms investor confidence will most definitely drop due to increases in investment income taxes thereby damaging the economic position of the US, corporate taxes and small business taxes also increase which will eventually drive small businesses into bankruptcy and increase unemployment. Great way to spend tax payer money Mr. President! Maybe you should be CEO of Nike too...O wait you'd like that wouldn't you and maybe every other major business in private industry.
Does the health care bill have a moron tax? I'd support that.
I owe you a debt of gratitude. I finally have an explanation of how Fox News thrives.

Nice rebuttal. Really that took a lot of deep intellectual thought I could tell. Come talk to me when you actually have a background in economics, finance, or government policies/legislation relating to the country's budget or economic position.
A pompous ass tax would work, too.
The funniest thing is that the Hansons are in the same tax bracket as Phil Knight.

Nice rebuttal. Come talk to us when you are actually smart enough to recognize the difference between an April fool's joke and reality. Guess that makes you the April Fool.
April Fool's aside (dumbest holiday ever beyond the age of 6), Obama's always been forthright with the American people. Not once has he ever employed deception, backpedaled on a promise, borrowed and implemented ideas that he campaigned against to get elected, or engaged in extreme partisanship. Straight, narrow, and squeaky clean guy. How else does one get to be President?

And that was the November Fool's day joke.

It's a quadrennial celebration that our political system has pulled on us for quite some time!
