Your statement proves you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.

Actually, based on the results from that mile, his statement about Acosta being better than Rupp is legit.

That adds Blankenship to the sub 4:00 list of alumni from Stillwater High School in Minnesota with Luke and Jake Watson and Sean Graham. 4 ties Eugene South for most ever.
Great race by Blankenship! We all thought that his win at Big 10's over several sub-4 guys was an upset. Maybe not. He's fun to watch, very emotional and has good instincts when to make his move. That is amazing that a Minnesota HS would produce 4 sub-4 guys. Way to go Stillwater Ponies!!
who are the 4 guys to go sub-4? from that one high school?

Repeating my earlier post, actually Stillwater HS MN is all alone with its 4 sub 4:00 US milers (Blankenship joins Luke Watson, Jake Watson & Sean Graham), improving its own record of 3. Next best are eight high schools that have produced 2, including South Eugene OR.
On the combined list of sub-4 and sub 3:42.23 (1500m sub 4:00 equivalent for stat purposes) Stillwater is now tied for the lead with South Eugene HS OR and Klein HS TX at 4 each.

Actually based your on your IQ, you're a mentally retarded 3 year old. Rupp 3:56/13:14 this year toasts Acosta (which isn't a knock on Acosta). It's the facts.
Dude, chill out... people, especially elite athletes, don't always race for points or wins. It's training for his 5k or his mile or his 10k or something. You're suffering from myopia, my friend. It is precisely because he is so talented that he needs to race to get a workout. Dropping 1:50 in a workout is fast. Period.
Thank you. Finally a poster with a brain at LetsRun. Rupp had already run a 1:50 before meeting up with a field of fresh milers. If anyone watched the race, they could clearly see that Rupp did most of the work, and let the others draft off him, especially after the rabbit stepped off the track. It was only in the last few meters that the first two guys sprinted past Rupp, who was obviously coasting in at the end of his very good 800/1500 workut.
Is Blankenship the first U.S. ponytail under 4:00?
Go screw a Zebra you Donkey.
You are without class, knowledge and class.\
Try bowling ... my intuition says you're a perfect
fit ...
(forgive me Bowlers for including this bitch in with
a sophisticated and articulate band of athletes).
Not officially sub 4 but I ran 3:41.3 1500m in 1991 and had a ponytail...LOL!
Poor James Cameron.
9th here and no Oscar.
