I think you'll find that most head coaches that are not in charged of a combined program are making under 100k. 90k is a pretty high rate for a single gender head coach. However, it is LA which makes it seem less.

lets talk about Jeanette. How has she done lately? Is her program going in the right direction or the wrong direction. Anyone who knows UCLA track and field can tell you that the UCLA women's program is in terrible shape right now and there isn't much hope on the horizon.
You do realize that Bolden's Lady Bruins WON the NCAA Outdoor title, just 4 years ago when the meet was in Austin?

College athletics Moto, "What have you done for me lately."
See Philip Fulmer, Art Venegas, etc
UCLA did not win the women's NCAA Championship 4 years ago. Texas won the women's NCAA Championship in 2005. The facts maam. Just the facts.
I'm a diehard Bruin, but I was at the Dodger game, they were booing our great mayor, Tony V, who was out on the field with Pom Pom Pete.

And YOU DO REALIZE that much of Jeanette's success that year had to do with the coaching that came from Bobby Kersee (Sheena Johnson, 19 points) and none other than Anthony Curran (Chelsea Johnson, 10 points and Jackie Nguyen, 4 points), right?
Yep.
And don't forget who coached ALL of those female throwers that helped Jeanette score points for her women's UCLA team . . . Art Venegas!
That doesn't matter. How many women does Pat Henry actually coach? None, and he has won a number of women's titles. She is the head coach and they won under her watch.

Coach Maynard will get the job done. He is a superb throws coach and a great organizer/leader. Boise State finished in the top 25 at least 5 of the last 6 years. Maynard will win at UCLA!!!
Is there anything new going on with UCLA track coaches.
Anderson deftly navigated COVID protocols throughout 2021 and led the Bruins to success in both Cross Country and Track & Field. 😷
